20 Actionable Policies

That the City of Ottawa Should Undertake in the 2022-2026 Term of Council

Within the first 100 days of taking office, the new city council will have a lot of work on its hands. Efforts should be made to align on achievable objectives that improve quality of life for residents while identifying wasteful spending that has occurred in the past, and making collaborative efforts to fix it. The Term of Council Priorities and governance report offer an opportunity to work together to get these ideas right. Implementing these policies  will not require changes in the city taxation rate, but will constitute a shift in priorities and in where we allocate limited resources in the city budget.
